Our first sailing trip - Ravenna to Punat

Delivery trip, Sat-Sun., 19-20 April 2003

As promised by the manufacturer, Cantiere del Pardo (CDP), our Grand Soleil 46.3 was delivered on time, 14^th of April 2003. Ivo and his sister Mirjana visited the factory few days before delivery. It was an impressive show run by Mr Kim - Few photos are attached:

After delivery from Forli to Ravenna, Fiu was fitted by the manufacturer with all the necessary gadgets, mast and rigging, steering wheel, sails, etc. and the 'invasion' by our team of 'big time sailors' from Punat and Zagreb began on Thursday, 17th April.

Ivo's old friendss Drago Bonifačić and Marinko Franolić came first followed by the second car driven by Davor Knaus and packed by Igor Bošković and his son Boris, Franjo Zec and Jan Pecina. After checking all the gadgets refuling and familiarising with the yacht we left Ravenna on Saturday morning for Pula, some 100 Nm East from Ravenna .
